:DE: Reinickendorf is the twelfth borough of Berlin. It encompasses the north-west of the city area, including the Berlin Tegel Airport, Lake Tegel, spacious settlements of detached houses as well as housing estates like Märkisches Viertel.
Reinickendorf is split in eleven localities: • Reinickendorf; • Tegel; • Konradshöhe; • Heiligensee; • Frohnau; • Hermsdorf; • Waidmannslust; • Lübars; • Wittenau; • Märkisches Viertel; • Borsigwalde.
Reinickendorf has a population of over 265,772 people. Reinickendorf also forms one of the centres of the wider Berlin metropolitan area which has a population of over 5,303,846 people.
